Winter Recess

On Noah's last day of preschool before Winter Break, his class held a Christmas Feast in the gym, and were entertained by a interactive play called The Elves and the Shoemaker. They took turns wearing costumes and acting out a story as it was told. The class really had a great time together. Bill, the twins and my mom were able to attend, and Noah seemed proud waving to us from the stage. I brought my preschool standard "piggies in a blanket" (lil' smokies wrapped in croissant dough) to the potluck lunch, and as usual they disappeared. The twins were extremely excited to have the run of the entire gym, and occasionally ended up under a table peeking out at other parents and laughing. They were especially happy to see their twin buddies Charlie & Greta, and squealed and ran to them when they arrived.
It's a relief that Noah is "off" of school for a while, because it will be nice to just be home with all three boys and not have pack the twins up twice a day to drive Noah to school. It really is a production to take them somewhere, finding jackets, hats, & shoes, getting them in their carseats, & then putting them in their stroller... then out of the stroller & back into the carseats and out of the van and into the house.
Did I mention this is twice a day?
