I need to get used to the scrapes and bumps that I am sure will keep coming with these 3 boys, but it is painful to see them get hurt.
Hayden did some type of bending over to stand move and bonked into the wall, scraping his forehead yesterday. On the same day, I picked up Noah from school, noticing from across the playground that his nose was a strange purple color. He reported that he slipped on the concrete patio during recess and fell on his nose & cheek. Same day, no lie, Nate came down with a stomach bug causing a 102 degree fever and the loss of a few meals. Today, things are looking up. A little Neosporin here and there, some Pedialyte for Nate and everyone seems to be feeling better by bedtime.
Note... Hayden is our "sideways drinker" He has always preferred to hold his sippy cup to the side as he drinks. I don't know if he's just trying to see, not wanting to miss a thing? Whatever the reason... it's cute. Nate has really taken to hugging Cocoa and stuffed animals, which is adorable to watch especially if he sucks his thumb at the same time.
