The Heber Valley Railroad has a magical Christmastime experience for children. Every year they offer rides on The Polar Express. We bundled up the kids and boarded the train for a ride to the "North Pole" & back. During the ride, on which they have wood stoves to keep you warm, they read the book "The Polar Express", and have elves and chefs handing out cookies and hot chocolate -- just like in the story. When we arrived at the North Pole, Santa was outside waving at the kids and then boarded our train. Above, you'll see the kids reactions to seeing Santa. He talks to every child on the train and gives them a silver bell -- just like in the book. It is priceless seeing the excitement and wonder the children have being in this great story for the night.
