Ferragosto "Festival in August"

This evening, we headed downtown for the 2nd annual Ferragosto, an Italian Cultural Street Fair celebrating the Italian community in SLC. We met up with our friends, Paul, Genevieve, and their 11 month old daughter Rosie, and enjoyed a tasty dinner of lasagne, meatballs, and this pizza bread mound that had to be 6 inches high. mmmmm... any excuse to eat Italian food...
Rosie is a cutie who has quite a vocabulary already and a beautiful smile. Our twins showed off their ability to squawk, scream and giggle... no doubt impressing the little lady.
Noah was disappointed that they didn't have the bounce houses and rides like last year. He even remembered that "daddy didn't let him in the monkey bounce house, but he did go in the King Kong bounce house". He really has an amazing memory.
Well, the Stracciatella (vanilla with chocolate shavings) and Tiramisu flavored gelato made Noah and the rest of us feel much better.
