Cool Dude

This week has brought some big changes for the twins. They are within a week of turning one year old, and are now out of their infant seats and in forward facing carseats. Turning around in the van and seeing their faces smiling has been fun. They seem excited to have so much more to look at now. They have also switched from formula in bottles to Vitamin D milk in sippy cups. That first taste brought some funny looks, and I wondered if they would ever like it, as well as missing their "ba ba", but they adapted fast and by day two, they seemed ok with the changes. Being from Wisconsin (America's Dairyland), I wasn't too concerned...
I am so happy to get the real estate back on our countertops, with getting rid of the bottle warmer, drying rack full of bottles, and some cupboard space now that the big cans of formula and baby food jars are gone. The infant carseats are no longer there to trip over...
These things I am happy to say goodbye to, although it means that my little babies are becoming toddlers and they are already growing up too fast.
