Nate & Hayden started taking swimming lessons on Noah's birthday, the 27th of Feb. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they really were excited for their lessons and seem to like them. I think that it really helped that they watched Noah for the last 5 months and knew the drill.Noah is now learning the crawl stroke, and can dive off the diving board and swim to the side in a backstroke. I am amazed at his progress -- he was a complete beginner when he started his weekly lessons. Nate has a great time & tries to splash the teacher, but doesn't like his ears underwater when they lay him on his back to teach him to float. Hayden is very proud to pick up the rockets & rings out of the water and is learning to hold his breath & "hum to the fish" when he dunks under.
It's very fun to watch them all, and quite a process to dry them off & get everyone dressed again. Noah proudly gives his brothers their reward stamps on their hands after their lessons.
