For Noah's 6th Birthday party, we rented a coach on the Soldier Hollow Express at the Heber Valley Railroad. It was an experience he'll never forget, and he told us it was "his best birthday ever!" That made it worth it!The kids boarded his private birthday coach, which was filled with balloons, hats & horns, and a really REALLY good cake from a Heber bakery. We rode for 90 minutes through the beautiful scenery to Soldier Hollow & back.
The kids had a great time playing, hanging out & looking out the windows as well as touring the train. They all wanted to see the "snack car" and the open air car.
Grandpa & Grandma were Noah's special guests -- Grandpa got to tour the engine with Noah & I and he took a gazillion great pictures for us, and Grandma helped us wrangle the twins, cut the cake and took kids for walks to the open air car where she stopped the conductor for more great pics.
Noah had a great time partying on the train with his friends, and we enjoyed hanging out with their families as well. Nate & Hayden loved the whole experience and can't stop talking about it. It is really great to see Noah and his friends growing up together and staying close friends.
