This is Nate's 3rd haircut, and Hayden's second. They both had a trim right before their 1st birthdays, by my hairstylist, however I'd forgotten my camera on that trip. That's probably for the best, because we all ended up covered in suckers and hair, as they cried and fussed through most of it, sitting on my lap for their cut. As you may remember, I'd really botched Nate's hair trying to do it myself and had to take them in.
So... here is the 1st official documented haircut, done at a cute place called Cookie Cutters. The kids pick a vehicle to sit in, a video to watch, and receive a sucker and a balloon with a cookie cutter tied to the string. There is also a big plastic slide for them to play on in the waiting area.
The twins did so much better with all that entertainment, and I was able to step back and take pictures... much more relaxing for me.
Nate's hair grows really fast (check the shag in his first pic here), and Hayden's is coming in at a slower pace, although he had a fair amount to even out this time around, and both of their haircuts turned out really cute.
