Noah's Chicago Fun

Lego man
Noah really loved our trip to Chicago.
Of course, he loved visiting with Angie & Jenni and always came with me to hang out in their room for our late night chats. He also enjoyed the Disney store, Legostore, Rainforest Cafe, and especially the Museum of Science and Industry. For the first 1/2 hour in the museum he was literally skipping and hopping from one exhibit to the next. Bill really enjoyed showing him some of the ones he enjoyed as a child, especially the train layouts.
The Great Train Story boasts a 3,500 square foot layout, which depicts the railroad’s winding journey between Chicago and Seattle, passing through the Midwest, the Plains States, the Rockies, the Cascades, and into the Pacific Northwest. Along the way, trains are involved in industries as diverse as grain commodities, raw materials for manufacturing, consumer goods for import and export, lumber, apples, and tourism.
Ok, I didn't write that, I found it on the museum website. It was a really impressive display and Noah would've stayed there all day watching the trains and pushing the interactive buttons if we'd let him. The museum was setting up a Christmas around the world display, and had soapbubble "snow" fall every 15 minutes amongst the Christmas trees. The kids loved being in the snowstorm.
