Thanksgiving weekend, we decided to hit the road and head south for an adventure. Bill has wanted to take Cocoa on a vacation all year, and this was the perfect trip. The last time we went to Goblin Valley & Little Wild Horse Canyon was before Noah was born.
This is about a 4 hr trip south from SLC. We arrived Friday afternoon, and hiked around Goblin Valley for about an hour before sunset. The kids & Cocoa loved running around the "goblins" - the rock formations you see in the pictures. You really have to keep an eye on where the parking lot is so you don't lose your way. When the sun set, we headed back to Green River to the hotel to swim & spend the night. My parents met up with us at the hotel - the kids love having an adjoining room with them and running between the rooms!
