Noah

The morning of this picture, Noah shut his door and said he didn't want me to see him get dressed. When he came out in a shirt and shorts, I didn't understand what the big deal was... That morning, I'd taken the twins to their Little Gym class and when I looked at Noah who was enjoying a movie in the lobby -- lo and behold, he had added a tie to his ensemble! He actually looked pretty cool, in my opinion! He loves to get attention for his crazy outfits and costumes.
At almost 5 1/2, Noah still loves make believe and dress ups, mostly pirates and cowboys. He has an incredible imagination and memory. His artistic abilities have really taken off. He started drawing in these great books where you use a wooden stick in a pencil shape and "draw" by scratching off a black film, revealing colors underneath. They have a picture on the left and a blank page on the right for you to draw your version of the picture. Those books really gave him the confidence to draw, and now he will come up with his own drawings on blank pages! Prior to this, he refused and said he couldn't draw & wouldn't even try, so that's why I am so excited that he's enjoying it now.
Noah is sweet, smart, empathetic, cautious, energetic, imaginative, and a good friend to many. He tells me I am his #1 girl (look out future daughter in law!). He has started to play a bit more with his younger siblings, but the 3 1/2 year gap is still pretty big for them at this point. He watches out for them, and will always let me know if they are getting into trouble or danger.
What a good boy!
