Looking for entertainment, the kids and I visited the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. The kids loved seeing the dinosaur exhibits -- enough to go through twice (the first round was at Noah's high speed tour level).
Big milestone for us -- the twins were 2 weeks shy of their second birthday and we didn't bring in a stroller. Yep, the day has come! We practiced a lot in the last 2 months, and it was stressful & exhausting, but we are finally to a point where the twins will walk with us in a parking lot and in places like Noah's school, a store, a museum etc. No, it's not always a perfect visit, but it's manageable now. If they aren't overtired/hungry or anything that will set them off, they will listen and stay close. It's a big relief, and something that really seemed out of reach even 2 months ago.
