Harry Potter / Universal Islands of Adventure

Our first full day of our trip to Orlando (Halloween week) we went to Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure theme park and headed straight for the new Harry Potter ride that Bill worked on last year. The city was amazing, it even felt cold as soon as you saw the snow on the roofs, and it was a 90 degree day! We drank Butterbeer (butterscotch rootbeer) and really enjoyed the castle & ride!  Everything around us was decorated to make you feel like you were really at Hogwarts!

I put in a lot of pics of the buildings, I just couldn't get over how much detail was put into this part of the park!  The buildings looked really cool!

Ignore these people looking in my general direction... it was impossible to get a shot of the city without all of the tourists! ha!

The twins were too small to go on the ride, but got to sit in "child swap" right next to the ride in the castle & watch the Harry Potter movies with whichever of us was sitting out at the time.  Their favorite part of the park may have been Riley Cherney (Jenni's son) who they followed around and just adored!
