the Bahamas

Bill & I were invited to a wedding on Great Guany Cay, Abacos, Bahamas. We were sooooo excited to take our 1st trip together without the kids (in 7 years in case you were counting). The group of friends that were invited are the same friends that introduced Bill and I 14 years ago, so we knew this would be a GREAT time! Gregg & Denise picked a beautiful, tiny island in the Bahamas for their wedding. Only a few locals had small cars, the main transportation was by golf cart, bike or foot.

My dad stepped up and took care of the twins during the days while mom worked, and did a fabulous job! The kids were very happy at camp Grandpa, and had fun with Grandma & all the fun activities she planned at night & on the weekends. Lisa took Noah so that he could ride to school with them, and he joined the twins on the weekend. They all had a great time & were in good care so we didn't worry a bit.

The days on the island were filled with fun, laughs & sunshine and beautiful scenery. We met on the beach everyday & while the girls talked and caught up on reading, the guys played bocce all over the beach making up crazy rules & bets as they went along.
