Over MLK weekend, I met my friend Catherine & her family visiting from LA at Solitude for a day of skiing. I put Noah in an all day lesson (that's him in the dk blue coat) which he loved especially because his friend Ellie (Catherine's daughter) was in it too! Noah had a great day and learned a lot. They practiced stopping on a very small hill for about 20 minutes and then headed up the chairlift. He had a great time following the instructor and friends down the bunny hill over & over, learning to turn and stop.
I loved getting on the hill for the first time this year & had fun skiing with Catherine & the girls. Noah & I took the last run together and I was so shocked to see that he could maneuver the chairlift by himself & ski down without help. He'll be taking 5 weeks of lessons through school starting in Feb & we are excited for him to learn a sport that we love!
