A little more from Halloween week. Noah & I attended Garden After Dark with Grandpa, Grandma, Lisa, Adrian & Kiran. It was the best weather we've ever encountered for this event, and we were happily overdressed (better than freezing!) Noah decided to be Indiana Jones this year after watching movies 1, 2 & 3 over & over and just recently we rented #4 which just came out on DVD. He told me that he still likes pirates though... He was all decked out in costume, which on this night included snow boots, when we came upon a face painting table. He soon became Indiana Kitty Cat Jones with Snow Boots. The event had so many more activities this year and it was much better organized than in the past. Noah created a "monster", which was a netted ball of dirt and grass seeds. We were instructed to take it home & leave it in a bowl of water to watch the "hair" grow. (It is a botanical garden afterall) There was a fun maze through the "Rabbit Hole" with Alice in Wonderland characters, although it ended dangerously close to a large pond and it was quite dark at the time... I'll let it slide, no one fell in and it was fun. Ok, all the Halloween decorations are packed up and ready for next year! I see that Christmas has already hit the malls... time to get shopping!
