They boys have had a fun summer playing in the backyard. The sandbox has slowly emptied, the play structure has gotten a good beating, the sand & water table has been splashed empty many times, ride-on toys have been pushed and driven for miles, and sprinklers have cooled them off. Last fall, the twins were still learning to walk and that's hard to imagine looking at them running around now.
Today, Hayden said "Scooby Dooby Doo!" and Nate answered with "Where Are You?!"
It makes me smile to hear them actually talking to each other, although a lot of it is yelling about a toy, some of the conversations have been sweet. I heard Nate calling Hayden to come and play with him outside today. "Hayden... play outside... choo choo!"
