Disneyland

Wow, what a great week of vacation!

We started off our week staying 3 nights at the Disneyland Hotel in the Dreams tower. It was a fabulous, comfortable hotel located in Downtown Disney, close to the monorail that takes you into the park. We loved being able to easily go back to the hotel during the day for the kids naps (and sometimes ours!)
On the first day, we checked in mid-morning and headed into the park to find some fun. The first ride we went on was Autopia, a car ride where you drive a car around on a track. Noah drove Grandma S., Bill had Nate and I took Hayden. Grandma said Noah needs some practice before the real thing, but everyone had fun. We caught the parade, rode on the teacups, and headed back for naps. While the others napped, I took Noah to the Neverland Pool at our hotel. It had a pirate ship and waterslides that Noah loved! We swam for almost 2 hours! When everyone woke up, we ate a great cajun meal at the Jazz kitchen in Downtown Disney and watched the fireworks from our table. Noah fell asleep during dinner, wiped out from an exciting day and an early start. We woke the kids up at 6am to catch our flight to Long Beach!
