We spent the weekend in Las Vegas, seeing the sights and visiting Kari's brother, Keith. Even with 3 boys in tow, it was a relaxing, fun vacation. It's always good to get away for a while.We stopped in at the New York, New York Casino for lunch, and blocked in the kids with the stroller and chairs so they could play on this (fake) porch. Forget expensive toys, all they wanted to do was go up the step and turn the doorknob.
Noah enjoyed watching the 2 tugboats at New York, New York, especially when they sprayed their fire hoses. He thought that Las Vegas should have places on the strip that look like Las Vegas, not other cities. What would that look like?
We found a reliable babysitter while on the trip, a little hyper, but he did well with the kids.
Actually, Grandma & Grandpa came with us to see Keith and helped out with the kids so Bill and I could have a night out. We impressed ourselves and stayed out until 2 am with Keith at the Hard Rock Casino.
