The 24th of July is Pioneer Day, a Utah State Holiday. Our neighborhood throws the best party in my opinion, and the best fireworks. We walked down to the watch the parade with Lisa & Kiran, and our neighbor Betsy and her 2 1/2 yr old son George.
Although the clouds and wind threatened, the rain held out until the last float went by. The kids loved having candy thrown to them, and brought home quite a stash.
