Boys Gone Wild

The boys are on the move, looking for trouble. The kitchen seems to have a lot of interesting places to play, like under the TV table where it is fun to hang on the iron legs and pull cords. Oh, it's also conveniently next to the dog bowl which they like to splash in. Nate likes to attack our wood blinds on the patio doors... he could flip them for hours if we'd just let him.

You'll notice how short Nate's hair is... well I got the idea that I could cut it myself, after hearing many comments from family that it was getting too long and in his eyes.
Round 1 went well with the scissors, and the front and sides look ok, but Round 2 with the beard trimmer to get the bottom of the back ~ not so well. It brings to mind the saying "I should have stopped while I was ahead". There is a nice square cut out in back at the bottom when I had the trimmer turned the wrong way, and it's all pretty uneven back there. Sigh... Even Noah commented "Momma, it doesn't look too good back here!" Hayden got off easy with barely a trim because his is growing so slowly. I had just enough from each to save for their baby books.
I've got a month for it to grow before their 12 mo. pictures, wish Nate luck!

Under the kitchen table is also a favorite spot to climb and find those cheerios they threw earlier. I should give them some Pledge and a cloth and let them go at it...
