Fruita, CO

We packed a smaller tent on this trip - the nights were ccccccold - in the 40's.

Noah's first mountain bike ride (not pictured) was on this trip. He doing a great job on two wheels!

The boys loved playing with their buddy Hannah G. in the biggest sandbox ever!

Happy Mother's Day! Noah picked flowers for two days & put them in a cup of water - hidden out of sight until the morning of Mother's Day. This is how he greeted me when I woke up & peeked out of the tent!

We love the dinosaur museum - so child appropriate haha!  This is the goriest of the displays - the kids think it's funny.

This one spits water at you.

This is the favorite!  The shaking earthquake!  This is our 3rd spring trip with the Gilberts and I have a pic of them on this each year!  I need to find them all & post them...

Sitting around the campfire eating s'mores.  We love that!

Very cool fence just outside of Fruita on the way to our campsite

and a big bike sculpture...

The last day of our trip we always head into Grand Junction (15 min away) to have lunch before heading home.  The main street is filled with metal sculptures & the boys love to find every one!  This bike is their favorite!
