Freedom! The twins had their crib rails removed a few weeks ago...they are Big Boys now, you know. How is it going you ask? The first week, it took them about an hour and a half to fall asleep. A lot of sneaking around, playing with toys and reading books. The first few days I heard 2-3 thuds a night and went in to put sleeping boys back into bed.
Now we're down to an 1/2 hour or less, but I usually find Nate with his upper body on the bed and legs/feet on the floor! Hayden likes to bury himself in stuffed animals and his blankie, but stays on the bed.
We are in the process of changing over their room to an official big boy room, with a bunk bed for Noah (when he wants to sleep with them) & Hayden, and Nate has a toddler firetruck bed now.
I don't remember Noah taking so long to settle in to his new found freedom, but he didn't have a partner in crime like the twins have in each other. I think they'll have a lot of fun sleeping in the same room -- let's hope they get some sleep!
