this is Noah "fielding" aka... playing in the dirt

This year, Noah was on a machine pitch baseball team. We wondered after the first game if anyone on the team would be able to hit the ball after the pitching maching shot it at them, but by the second and third games, the entire team was hitting well. Noah's coach said he was the "most improved". He learned a lot of skills this year, and they had a great coach who was really into teaching the kids fundamentals & plays. Oh, he still played in the dirt.. a lot, but his hitting and throwing improved a great deal.
During a Saturday game when the snack shack was in full swing, they were announcing the game over a microphone and making up nicknames for the players. "Sikorski, home town hero!" really made Noah smile!
