I also fell asleep, on the couch, and Nate crawled on me & snuggled in. This is a luxury -- getting to cuddle with one of the twins. It feels sad to say, but they rarely get that one on one time. If one jumps up, usually the other isn't far behind, and then Noah wants in too. That starts a fight and then they're all off & running. Even when they were babies, it was hard to get to hold just one twin since they were on the same schedule.
About a month ago, Nate started to ask if we could sit together & rock "cuddle me, mama!" and of course I said YES! He likes to get tickles then too... and for some reason wants me to sing the "meow meow" cat food song.
I picked up Hayden from bed one night when he woke up crying and walked to the chair & thought I'd hold him & rock him to sleep. He looked at me after about a minute and said, "put me in my bed". sigh. He'll come around.
Today, it was the 5th day of a stomach bug for the twins that has them wanting to be in mama's lap, but I'll take it.
