Wedgits

I'm trying to set aside time each day with the twins to have "school" time. I was inspired after recently experiencing "the Silent Journey" at Noah's Montessori school. You are the child, and the teachers take you through toddler -- upper elementary in a few hours. Being in the toddler classroom with all of the great materials made me realize that the twins need more than just toys & free play -- they'd love some structured activities.
Here they are building with Wedgits. These are so fun & something that can be found in Noah's classroom as well. It's amazing to see what kids can make with them -- all by themselves!

There are a lot of things we already have in the house to use for their "school" time, from purchased to scavenged. Puzzles, coloring books & crayons, shape sorters, playdoh. The "lids" work is one that I am trying to recycle from around the house. Bottles & caps, boxes & lids, dishsoap flip caps... I am assembling a box of them for the twins to practice with.
