Busy Boys

Check out how similar the shape of the twin's mouths are in the top two pics...
Hayden is really practicing making sounds. He started saying "dadadada". Bill would like to think that it is directed at him, but not quite yet. He likes to see what it sounds like to stick out his tongue and say "tatatatatat" -- Hayden, not Bill.
"Nate-O" We always seem to be calling him that, even Noah does it. Nate-o-potato. He loves to hear his voice, and goes into long renditions of a song that includes squawking, spitting and gargle-ing. Sometimes it seams to be his battle-cry when he's taking down a toy.

So far we're safe...no crawling yet.
Nate moves around by scooting backwards on his belly, pushing with his arms. He can also sit up from a crawl position and vice versa, and he does that facing different ways until he's made it to the next toy. It was cool to watch him learn that move, it took him 3 days to do it.
Hayden is too busy studying how the toys work. He can do a mean pivot on his belly, but so far he's frustrated that he can't move from laying down to sitting yet. We've started to lock the gate at the top of the stairs, just in case one of them makes it down the hall...we know it will be soon.
