We brought in the highchairs to make mealtime easier. I think I was breaking a few rules by putting them in their carseats up on the table. They really like to play with their toys on the trays. At the first meal that I fed them in the highchairs, Nate pounded his fist on the tray and then leaned over and bit the tray
. I think he was ready for more than just a bottle.
This was my first attempt at feeding the twins their rice cereal. It is not easy feed a baby milk on a spoon, and that's about what it's like because you have to start out with it at a thin consistency. Nate seemed to really know what he was doing already, while Hayden was very good at pushing it all out with his tongue.
